  • Overview

    Assists with the daily operation of the kitchen, cafeteria and tray services. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

    Responsibilities

    • Cleans up after self and carries out daily, weekly, and monthlycleaning duties.
    • Operate following the policy and procedure for the dish machine.
    • Scrub, wash, rinse, and sanitize following the policy and procedure for the pots and pans.
    • Sets up and delivers patient trays following the policy and procedure for tray delivery.
    • Stocks patient line items, patient kitchenettes, worker prep area.
    • Writes nourishment stickers and prepares snacks following the production sheet.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
    • Some secondary education desired.
    • One year of experience in restaurant or hospital required.
    • Manual dexterity, good motor coordination, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
