Overview

Copley Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Provider to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in emergency medicine, capable of making critical decisions, and committed to providing compassionate and efficient healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in the Emergency Department under the supervision of attending physicians.
  • Perform thorough assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current on advancements in emergency medicine through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree / Advanced Practice Nursing Degree
  • Current Vermont state licensure and certification 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
