As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare facility by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images.
  • Operate X-ray equipment and adjust technical factors to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to perform a variety of X-ray examinations, including but not limited to skeletal, chest, and abdominal imaging.
  • Review images for technical quality, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ensure the safety of patients, staff, and yourself.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in X-ray technology and techniques.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Completion of formal Radiological Technology training in an AMA approved school.

Preferred:

  • Advanced training in CT Scan, Mammography, MRI or Ultrasound.
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Science.
