We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Facilities, Safety, and Security.

 

As the Director of Facilities, Safety, and Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital environment. You will oversee all aspects of facilities management, safety protocols, and security measures to uphold the well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of facility management practices, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management plans to ensure the efficient operation of the hospital's physical infrastructure.
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and budgetary constraints.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety among staff and patients.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness efforts, including disaster response plans, drills, and training programs.
  • Manage security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, and security personnel, to safeguard the hospital premises.
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify and address facility-related issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in facilities management, safety, and security.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Five to seven years plant maintenance and engineering management experience in a hospital environment. 
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage a team and drive results.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to facilities management, safety, and security.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
