About the Opportunity
Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is seeking an experienced nurse midwife to join our Women’s Center practice. The Women’s Center has a collaborative practice of 24/7 midwifery coverage with midwives serving as first call for all obstetric patients. Primary responsibilities include full scope office coverage including same day LARC placement, birthing center triage, labor, birth and postpartum. Births occur at our well-established, high-touch, low-tech in-hospital birthing center with a 4-bed mother-baby unit. Low epidural rates, low cesarean birth rates, high breastfeeding rates. Experience with unmedicated birth, water birth and first assistant for cesarean birth preferred.

Education Requirements
Master’s Science in Nursing
Experience Requirements
Three to five years experience as Certified Nurse Midwife in direct patient care
License and Certification Requirements
Current National AMCB certification
Current APRN with prescriptive authority
RN licenses from the Vermont Board of Nursing
Current BLS and NRP certifications
