Overview

Copley Hospital is seeking a versatile and proactive Human Resources Administrative Coordinator to join our HR team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role provides day-to-day HR administrative support to all hospital staff. You will be a key partner in delivering HR initiatives across the organization — from ensuring accurate employee data management and supporting staff throughout their employment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Maintain HRIS systems: data entry, updates, audits, and reporting.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and leaves of absence (FMLA, LOA).
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee files (paper and electronic).
  • Support the planning and coordination of employee engagement and recognition events.
  • Assist with employment verifications, license renewals, and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Facilitate meetings, manage task assignments, and ensure clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Serve as a back-up for other HR team members as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field

Experience:

  • 1–3 years' administrative HR experience in a professional environment preferred
