Overview

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic MRI Technologist to join our team!

 

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic imaging.

 

This position is Per Diem (FT/PT available).

Compensation: $39-44/hour.

 

The posted salary range reflects compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to obtain the required images.
  • Adjust imaging parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Evaluate images for quality and clarity, and identify any necessary re-scans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate scan results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control checks.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certification in MRI
