Copley Hospital is seeking a dedicated individual to lead staff in the Laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional team of lab techs and help them learn and grow, while working in a comfortable and supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Day-to-day laboratory operations, including scheduling the staff, prioritizing need and providing excellent customer service.
• Supervising and ensuring staff productivity, including quality assurance and improvement
• Coaching, training and educating staff, ensuring competency to perform assigned skills.
• Maintain proficiency by performing tech duties in technical operations as needed.
• Complying with all state, federal and hospital regulations and policies governing healthcare.

Education:

• A two-year degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological and/or Medical Lab Science.
• Must possess certification as an MLT/MLS/MT

What You Can Expect:

• Training on all in-house processes, procedures, policies and guidelines that are key to the position.
• Support from the hospital leadership team, as well as the department leaders dedicated to your success (includes the Lab Director and Exec. Dir. of Clinical Ancillary Services)
• Opportunity to grow while you work on your 4 yr degree. In Medical Technology/Med. Lab. Science field allowing you to become a Lab. Director.

This is a Full-Time position (PT options available). 

Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs. Please consider applying to discuss how your availability may align.

Compensation: $34-40/hr.

The posted salary range reflects compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.
