Overview

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of an Administrative Analyst to join our team! The Administrative Analyst supports organizational planning, decision-making, and operational improvement by gathering and analyzing information, preparing reports, coordinating projects, and providing administrative support to hospital leadership. This position works with multiple departments to evaluate processes, monitor performance, organize complex information, and help advance organizational priorities.


The Administrative Analyst must be adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable managing a broad range of responsibilities. The position requires strong analytical ability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with clinical, operational, financial, and administrative leaders.

 

This position is Full-Time (PT available).

 

Compensation: $62,400-70,720/year.

 

The posted salary range reflects compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.

Responsibilities

  • Develops reports, dashboards, presentations, charts, and written summaries for leadership and committees.
  • Identifies trends, inconsistencies, risks, and opportunities and clearly communicates relevant findings.
  • Verifies the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of information before it is distributed or used for decision-making.
  • Conducts research and comparative analysis to support operational decisions.
  • Coordinates assigned organizational projects from planning through completion.
  • Develops project plans, timelines, work plans, meeting materials, and status reports.
  • Tracks assignments, deadlines, decisions, and deliverables and follows up with responsible individuals.
  • Supports interdisciplinary workgroups and committees as assigned.
  • Collects, organizes, analyzes, and summarizes operational, financial, clinical, workforce, and other organizational data.
  • Prepares professional correspondence, reports, meeting materials, policies, procedures, and presentations.
  • Coordinates meetings, develops agendas, records key decisions and action items, and monitors follow-up.
  • Maintains organized electronic and paper files, records, reference materials, and supporting documentation.
  • Responds to requests for information and coordinates contributions from multiple departments.
  • Handles confidential, sensitive, and privileged information with discretion.
  • Provides administrative coverage or assistance when requested.
  • Builds effective working relationships with leaders, physicians, employees, trustees, community partners, and outside organizations.
  • Exercises sound judgment when determining which matters can be handled independently and which require consultation or escalation.
  • Maintains a professional, responsive, and service-oriented approach.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate degree or certification equivalent (preferred).

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in analysis, project coordination, healthcare administration, business operations, or a related area

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to collect, evaluate, interpret, and clearly present information.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment.
