The Emergency Department Technician will work under the supervision of a nurse or provider to deliver patient care to emergency room patients. This includes preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, obtaining specimens, setting-up rooms with necessary supplies and equipment and assisting physicians and nurses during treatments. The ED Tech functions as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team and should be fully versed in all areas of either emergency department or transport team operations. The ED Tech must have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities as well as exhibit willingness and the ability to communicate department standards and expectations. Expected primary shift will be from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Variable shifts may include 7:00am-7:00pm and 7:00pm-7:00am as well.

This is a Night position with an anticipated schedule of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
The Informatics Specialist will manage out-patient clinics electronic health record as well as assist with inpatient IT/Informatics project rollouts. This position will develop and implement a successful and effective training program for the use of our electronic health record (EHR) system. As an Informatics Specialist, this individual will configure and enable functionalities within the EHR to assist users with tracking and maintaining clinical care for patients. The individual will ensure that all users for all levels are optimizing the systems functionality and utilizing the system to intended capabilities to maximize efficiency. A key purpose of this position is to ensure that all users are trained and equipped to provide excellent clinical care through the utilization of the electronic health record. This individual will develop training and facilitate training strategies and plan project initiatives working with clinical, patient access, and others to optimize the system.
This will be an in-person on-site position.
