The Patient Engagement Specialist acts as first point of contact for our patients visiting our locations. Orients patients to the practice with directions and instructions. Assists in maintaining efficient patient workflow. Organizes and facilitates clerical administrative duties pertaining to patient registration and scheduling of appointments.
Patient Engagement Specialists are integral in arranging for the smooth flow of patients into outpatient services. Patient Engagement Specialists communicate directly with staff, patients, and providers to ensure a positive experience for patients in obtaining their desired appointments with our providers.
This position is responsible for the collection and validation of demographic, socio-economic, insurance and co-payment information at the time of service. Responsible for patient chart maintenance and communication with physicians’ offices as needed and requested. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
The Authorization Coordinator plays a key role in the patient experience and Revenue Cycle of the organization. This position will work with service providers and insurance companies to obtain all necessary prior authorizations. To be successful in this position you will need to thrive in a fast pace environment, be detail oriented, flexible, highly organized, self-motivated and muse provide outstanding service to both internal and external customers. Being a positive team player is a must.
The Security & Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of general security and maintenance tasks including; responding to security events, code green situations, assisting Nursing with potentially aggressive behaviors, ensuring campus security, and general repair, in all hospital buildings.
This is a Night position with an anticipated schedule of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
The Informatics Specialist will manage out-patient clinics electronic health record as well as assist with inpatient IT/Informatics project rollouts. This position will develop and implement a successful and effective training program for the use of our electronic health record (EHR) system. As an Informatics Specialist, this individual will configure and enable functionalities within the EHR to assist users with tracking and maintaining clinical care for patients. The individual will ensure that all users for all levels are optimizing the systems functionality and utilizing the system to intended capabilities to maximize efficiency. A key purpose of this position is to ensure that all users are trained and equipped to provide excellent clinical care through the utilization of the electronic health record. This individual will develop training and facilitate training strategies and plan project initiatives working with clinical, patient access, and others to optimize the system.
This will be an in-person on-site position.

The Infection Preventionist (IP) is responsible for implementing and coordinating Copley Hospital’s infection prevention and control program (IPCP), which is designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections. This position will include prevention, and surveillance in the inpatient and outpatient settings at Copley Hospital.
The Infection Preventionist detects and analyzes the distribution of infectious disease, both potential and real, within the hospital environment, and implements the appropriate control measures as set forth by regulatory bodies. The Infection Preventionist is responsible, in collaboration with other health care team members, for the surveillance of healthcare acquired infections; educating caregivers about infection prevention; and developing policies and procedures to ensure rigorous infection prevention and control standards to reduce the risk of infection to patients, visitors, and staff. This position assures compliance with external agency guidelines including CMS, OSHA, State Epidemiology and Public Health Departments, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) requirements.

As a licensed member of the care team, at Mansfield Orthopaedics, the RN will work in an Orthopaedic specialty clinic to support the patients' plan of care. The RN will assists with diagnostic and treatment services for ambulatory patients suffering from a broad range of Orthopaedic dysfunction and is familiar with standard Orthopaedic concepts, practices and procedures. The RN will triage phone calls from patients and outside care providers and communicate with the Orthopaedic providers to facilitate patient care.
The RN will work on patient navigation in our Orthopaedic specialty clinic to facilitate all necessary care from the decision to have a joint replacement through the final post-operative visit. The RN will serve as a single point of contact for physicians, patients, and caregivers to provide resources and assistance with accessing clinical and supportive care services offer at Mansfield Orthopaedics.

Provides diagnostic and supportive procedures within the realm of the Sleep Lab under the direction of the Respiratory Therapy manager. Performs nocturnal sleep studies in a hospital based sleep lab. Responsible for preparing patients for sleep studies, monitoring patients during data acquisition, attending to the patient and their needs, in addition to disconnecting from patient hook-up equipment. Properly sizes patients for CPAP masks and accurately delivers a desired positive airway pressure in order to treat sleep apnea.

Our small critical access hospital nestled in the green mountains and home to Mansfield Orthopedics is looking for an OT to work both inpatients and outpatients. This individual would be responsible for the evaluation, treatment and education of inpatients, outpatients, skilled nursing patients and assists in the coordination of the Swing bed Activities program. Looking for someone to work closely with our current OT to further develop our outpatient and concussion/brain injury program. Splinting, ergonomic and pediatric experience a plus. Willing to train the right clinician interested in joining our team. OT is responsible for coordinating care with other disciplines for effective ongoing treatment. Participates in activities such as in-services, continuing education and Performance Improvement, including peer review. Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and conferences. Documents treatment rendered according to hospital and or contractual policy and regulatory requirements. Participates in managing inventory associated with occupational therapy services. Performs other duties as assigned. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
The Social Worker, or Care Manager- Discharge Planner, is a core member of the hospital care team and leads discharge planning through full partnerships with caregivers, internal and external providers/customers, and patients and their families and communities. This role contributes to the transformation of the health care system into one that meets the demands for safety, quality, patient-centered and affordable care. This position is responsible and accountable for coordinating the interdisciplinary process that occurs throughout the continuum of care to ensure care coordination, communication and collaboration with patients, families, providers, ancillary services and community partners in order to achieve goals and maximize positive patient outcomes based upon individual assessments of patients' needs. Discharge planning will begin at the time of (and prior) admission, and reassessed during hospitalization. Concurrently intervenes to enhance patient quality outcomes and serves as a patient advocate.
